Wow it has been ages since I've posted on xanga! Well more like months to be exact. Unfortunately for my xanga it has been tossed to the wayside because of facebook. However I guess I'll just keep my xanga and update it sometimes... probably... maybe... Anyway for those of you who were wondering if I would ever post again here you are. I'm staying busy with my job and helping Alisha with plans. I am working at Glen's Tire in Wakarusa IN and I'm enjoying the oppertunity to work on tires again. Can't believe how much skill I lost in 1 year though! Oh well its slowly coming back. As for wedding stuff, I continue to procrastinate on things until my poor, stressed out fiancee finally gets me to do things. I must say I'm very glad for her patience with me, because I tend to wear it quite thin at times. Things however are progressing and things are coming together. I can hardly believe that the wedding is less than 2 monthes away! Wow! Exciting! In other news, Alisha and I are headed to PA this coming weekend for a wedding and to visit family and friends. I'm really excited about going to New Hope, because I haven't seen the people from my church since July! Way to long! I definitely miss those people! Seeing my family will be great too! Other than that I'm trying to stay out of truble ;), play as much basketball, volleyball or whatever sport, stay some what in shape, and save my money. Why are all those things so hard to do?! Oh well this is all for now. (And probably the next few months) :)

    Later Ya'll, Travis

Ok its been awhile since I've updated, but I just haven't had much to post. (And facebook has taken priority. :) I'm pretty much just getting adjusted to life in IN and trying to find a job. The latter being the most diffucult! The unemployment rate here is like the worst in the country! It can be very discouraging and I would appreciate your prayers. Hopefully I can find something soon.

My problems and worries however are very small however when I stop and think about what a great big God I have. Last night I watched the movie that I have at the top of this post and I would reccomend it to anyone. It made me stop and look at the glory of God and realize just how wonderful and merciful he is to me. He truly is indescribable!

I am enjoying living here in IN and getting to know new people. I started playing on the bball team at Living Water and I am having a blast, even though we have lost everytime I've played. As I think back I think that happened when I started playing in OR. Hmmm... Glad I'm not supestisious. :)

Its been great living close to Alisha and being able to spend time with her. Wedding plans are going ok. Ok, what do I know. I'm a guy! I just smile and nod. :) Ok I'm kidding :) We are just trying to keep it fun and not stress out.

Well thats about it. I'll post a few pics from Christmas time with my family. Have a great week everybody!

Hey I just want to let you all know that I made it safely to IN on Tuesday. I arrived in Chicago about 1 o'clock and got to Alisha's about 6. My luggage was being shipped to South Bend IN which was my original destination, so we stopped there on our way from Chicago. Unfortunately it wasn't there yet. I didn't get my luggage until Wednesday which delayed us form coming to PA for a day. Christmas morning we left for Pa and arrived about 3 o'clock. Anyway thats pretty much it right now. I'll post later and try to add some pictures. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  • Wow!

Am I really still awake at 1:28 in the morning sitting on the floor of the Portland airport posting on xanga? Its hard to explain all that I've been through and felt the past couple days. Dissapointment, discouragement, anger, sillyness, insanity, laziness, hope and hopelessness, and peace. I am scheduled to fly out at 5:30 this morning and I am just hoping and praying that I can leave. I am no longer going to fly to South Bend, but I am supposed to make it to Chicago by about 11:30. I just can't wait to see Alisha and spend some time with her! I'm so glad that God is in control and that I can trust him even when I feel like everything is going wrong.
